Votre Fresh Cooling Sun Protection Mist SPF 25 Review

I received this in my June FabBag 2015 and I have used it quite a number of times. I am loving facial mists these days and for my oily, acne prone skin type, these mists work way better than Kara facial wipes and other similar wet tissues for skin rejuvenation. I just spray this Votre Fresh Cooling Sun Protection Mist SPF 25 and I'm good to go. So, let's see how this worked out for me and if you should get this one...

My Experience with Votre Fresh Cooling Sun Protection Mist SPF 25

It comes in a normal spray bottle with the transparent cap. It is not bulky at all and that makes travelling with it a lot easier for me. It has a mild chemical fragrance that you won't perceive after a few seconds. A bad part about this is that the spray nozzle does not give out a "mist" of the water like liquid. It just dispenses a thin stream of water onto your face. I wish a bursting mist came out of it.

Another thing that I hate is that it tastes extremely bitter and if even a drop of it falls onto your tongue, get ready for a strong bitter taste in your mouth. But, a good thing is its consistency- watery and very light. Does not make my face oily at all. Sometimes, when I am in the middle of a lot of stuff, I just spray this and wipe my face with a tissue and it does cleanse a bit of dirt and oil from my face, making it fresh and lively. Also, SPF 25 for added protection is really awesome. The cooling sensation it provides is superb.

It leaves behind no residue or oily feeling, nothing. In the long run, I don't know how good it would be for the skin as I checked with pH paper that it is highly acidic in nature having pH ranging from 1-2. However, this never gave me pimples and did not irritate my skin at all. Votre products are really in right now and the quality of the products are good too. This is pretty expensive for the quantity, yet it is good for all skin types. But remember that it does not moisturize the skin rather, slightly dries it out. So dry skinned beauties must moisturize before or afterwards.

CONS OF VOTRE FRESH COOLING SUN PROTECTION MIST SPF 25

1) Highly acidic
2) Expensive
3) Does not spray a mist, rather dispenses a thin stream of liquid onto the skin
4) Does not moisturize the skin, rather slightly dries it out
5) Extremely bitter taste
6) Might irritate the eyes on accidental contact

Final Verdict : Overall, I like this facial mist. It definitely is expensive but it is one of those mists that did not cause any irritation on my skin and neither broke me out and thus, I would definitely like to repurchase this one and would stick to it till I find something better. I highly recommend this to people with oily skin as this would provide a lovely cooling sensation to their skin without making it too oily. Dry skinned beauties need to moisturize after using this or before usage of this as it mildly dries out the skin.
